SINGER OF OLD COUNTRY SONGS

Just doodling. Based on my memories of a little guy we called "Babe" who lived in our little town when I was a boy. He was a talented guitarist and a pretty good singer. He performed for free at local gatherings and festivities. He was liked by all but no one knew his last name. He was a frail looking man who was easy to like. He was a heavy drinker and died young. I always think of him when I hear the Tom T. Hall song "I remember the day that Clayton Delaney died".
